About Us

We are a team of volunteer vice-chancellors, directors, deans, faculty members, graduates, even policymakers from different technical and non-technical universities, as well as individuals from society in general, that have been working on a pro-bono basis to introduce programs and courses on Universal Human Values (UHV) in mainstream education since the early 1980s.

We are making effort for education that is Holistic | Universal | Rational | Verifiable | Humane, leading to Harmony

In 2017, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the regulatory body for technical education in India, mandated UHV in the Student Induction Program (SIP) and a 3-credit 1-semester foundation course in UHV for all technical institutions. Recently, it introduced a Minor Degree program in UHV.

We have been able to prepare more than 80,000 faculty in intense 3 to 8-day full-time workshops and over 230 universities and 320 schools have introduced UHV programs as a part of their academic curriculum with encouraging results.

We are a registered trust for research, development, education, training, and extension on Universal Human Values. We are a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organization making an effort for Holistic Value-based Education (Human Education) which will result into:

  • Fulfillment of Individual goals for happiness and prosperity through the development of human consciousness
  • Resolution of problems at their root
  • Humane society in which the well-being of all is ensured generation after generation

Our volunteers are individuals working for human education on a pro-bono basis as a team, self-motivated on their own right, on behalf of their family, as a functionary of their institution or at the behest of a regulatory body like AICTE or UGC. This set of core volunteers, or UHV Team, has prepared the UHV content, process and programs. It has helped to proliferate value inputs in mainstream education globally.

AKGEC, a distinguished educational institution in Uttar Pradesh, India, is contributing significantly to technical education since its establishment in 1998. IPE was established in 1964 as an autonomous non-profit society.
